解放思想的根本目的就是要破解发展难题,从根本上解放生产力,从而更好地维护最广大人民群众的根本利益。人民群众的社会实践是解放思想的认识论基础;是推动解放思想不断深入的根本动力;人民群众的根本利益是检验和衡量解放思想是否取得成效的唯一标准。解放思想,全面贯彻落实科学发展观离不开党的群众路线,坚持党的群众路线是实现解放思想的根本途径。

The final goal of emancipating mind is to solve problems and liberate the productive forces so as to better protect the basic interest of the people. The practice of the mass is the basis for the knowledge of mind emancipating, and is the driving force to push forward mind emancipating. Meanwhile, the basic interest of the mass is the standard to inspect the success or failure of mind emancipating. So mind emancipating and carrying out the scientific concept of development can not be succeeded without following the mass line, which is the basic way to emancipate mind.
