摘要
英语是主谓结构的语言,汉语是注重主题的语言。在注重主题的语言里主位与主题的关系是个研究领域。这里关注的是,原文里的主位推进结构是否能完全在译文里体现出来及汉语思维和话题结构对英汉互译过程中主位推进的影响。
English is a subject - predicate language ,while Chinese is a topic-prominent one. It is a subject of interest to study the relationship between theme and topic in Chinese. This Paper focuses on how the thematic progression in the original is transferred in the translation and the influence of Chinese way of thinking and topic on thematic progression in translation between English and Chinese.
