Preparation of 4-Hydroxy-3-nitro-pyridine by One Bath Two Stage Process

摘要 已知化合物结构中的苯环经用吡啶环替代后可能成为具有更高的活性或更低毒性的药物成分,因而该类化合物是开发新农药、医药的有潜力的重要中间体。目标化合物(HNP)是制备某些在4位有取代基团的3-硝基吡啶的理想原料。使用市场上供应的仅含77%的4-羟基吡啶(HP)(含氯14.4%)作原料,用一浴两步的硝化工艺,严格控制酸碱度也可制得高质量的HNP。 After the benzene ring was substituted by pyridine ring in the structure of known compounds, they may give higher pharmaceutical activity or lower toxicity, thus these compounds are potential important'intermediates of new pesticides and medicines. The title compound(HNP) is an ideal starting material for the preparation of some 4-substrituted-3-nitropyridines. HNP was prepared by nitration of 4- hydroxypyridine with one bath two step process. Using the commercial 4-hydroxy-pyridine(HP) of 77% purity containing about 14. 4% chloride as starting material, HNP of high quality was prepared. In this process the important parameter, pH value, must be controlled strictuly.
