A scheme of the ITU 320 for videoconferencing system using a single TMS320 C80 DSP is described, with emphasis on H.261 video compression/decompression; G.711, G.722 and G.728 audio codec with acoustic echo cancellation; H.242 call setup and control; H.221 Mux/Demux of video,audio and data; and H.243 multi control unit.Finally, a comparison of different schemes and the implementation results of the scheme is given.
