狂士屈原是在楚国相对独立、原始的文化生态环境和战国特殊的历史背景中孕育出来的。他的个性呈现出孤芳自赏、愤怨狂躁、执著不回的特点,并带有怪异不经的叛逆色彩。此种个性与同时的狂士孟子、庄子明显不同,我们可将他称为"孤忠怨抑"型狂士。他的复杂个性展现在政治抒情诗中,形成了极其独特的创作形态:章法大起大落,复杂多变;语意重复错杂;比喻多善恶对举等。

Quyuan is an unbridled old seholar born under the special euhural background of Chu. His disposition is characterized by self-admiration,resentment,mania and obstinacy. His individual character is revealed in his lyric poems with an unique writing form：bold, unconstrained, changeable, disorderly, goodness and evil juxtaposed, etc.
