摘要
本文尝试借用标记理论分析商务英语的主要特点。商务英语在国际贸易语境中是无标记的,商务英语简洁性与标记象似性紧密相关,商务英语礼貌性则符合语用标记模式的解释。
This thesis aims to draw upon markedness theory in its analysis of business English features. Business English is unmarked in foreign trade context, the conciseness of business English is closely related to iconicity of markedness theory, and the politeness of business English can be explained by pragmatic markedness relevance model.
