Reading comprehension is the course of studying and using the language character. It is also the course of reader＇s application and treatment of existing situational knowledge and relevant knowledge. Reading comprehension teaching in college English should use moderm reading theory, stimulate students＂ interest of reading, train students＂ basic language knowledge ability, strengthen cultural background knowledge;foster passage knowledge and the ability of predicting to reach the best reading effect. Teaching of fast reading in the college and improving students＇ ability of fast reading have becoming very unneglectable part of college English teaching.
