Effect of Eptithelial Cadherin in Invasion and Metastasis of Gastric Carcinoma

目的:研究E-钙粘蛋白(E-cad)在胃癌中的表达,并探讨它在胃癌浸润、转移中的作用。方法:应用免疫组化检测36例胃癌标本中肿瘤组织及癌旁组织中E-cad的表达,并进行回顾性随访。结果:E-cad在胃癌组织中的阳性表达率(72.2%)显著低于癌旁组织(91.7%)(P<0.05)。E-cad的阳性表达与胃癌分化程度相关(P<0.05)。结论:E-cad的异常表达在胃癌的发生中起着重要作用,参与了胃癌的浸润、转移过程;E-cad可能是预测胃癌患者临床预后的有用标志物。

Objective： To investigate the expression of eptithelial cadherin（E-cad）in gastric carcinoma, and to study its effect in invasion and metastasis of gastric carcinoma. Methods： The immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of E-cad in 36 patients with gastric carcinoma. Results： The positive expression rate of E-cad（72.2%）in gastile carcinoma was lower than that in paracarcinoma mucosa （91.7 % ） （ P 〈 0. 05 ）. There was a significant correlation between the positive expression and differentiation degree of E-cad（ P 〈 0.05）. Conclusion： The abnormal expression of E- cad plays an important role in the development of gastric carcinoma, and is involved in invasion and metastasis of gastric carcinoma. E-cad may be the useful marker to predict the clinical prognosis of patients with gastric carcinoma.
