The Index of Economics of Scale and Its Relation to the Elasticity of Cost Function

给出了弹性的数学概念和基本性质，并用生产函数的弹性作为生产规模报酬的数量指标，证明了生产函数弹性与成本函数弹性的倒数关系，从而给出了生产规模报酬与用平均成本划分的三个生产阶段的关系．

The mathematical concepts and fundamental properties of elasticity are discussed. It is proved that the elasticity of production function is the index of economics of scale and that the elasticity of production function is the reciprocal of that of cost function and gives the relationship between the economics of scale and the average cost function in three production stages.
