摘要
The compilation of teaching materials should follow some principles and standards. Following some principles, the compilation of New horizon college English makes full use of the latest technology in computer and Internet, and therefore bears some unique features. As a newly compiled college English teaching material, nevertheless, it reveals some weaknesses. This paper makes a detailed analysis of and comments on the above, with the expectation of being beneficial to future revision.
教材的编写要遵循一定的原则与标准，《新视野大学英语》系列教材的编写在遵循一定的原则基础上，充分运用了最新的计算机与网络技术，形成其独特之处。但作为一种新编大学英语教材，又暴露出许多不足。本文对此做了细致地分析与评价，以期待对该教材今後的改进和修订有所裨益。
