摘要
数学是科学亦是文化.通过克鲁伯(A.L.K roeber)和克拉柯洪(C.K.Lukhohn)对现代文化的定义的划分来分析数学何以构成文化,并且强调数学作为文化的几个基本的特征。从而从另个角度来论证了数学之所以为文化以及数学作为文化的基本特征:数学的社会习惯性;数学的历史性;数学的规范性;数学的应用性;数学的结构性;数学的遗传性。
Mathematics is a culture as well as a science. This article discusses how mathematics constitutes a culture in terms of the modern cultural definition proposed by A. L. Kroeber and C. K. Lukhohn, and reveals Mathematics' several basic features as a culture, i. e. its social habit, historicity, standard, application, structural property and heredity.
