江隆基是一位忠诚的无产阶级革命家,同时也是德高望重的教育家。江隆基在几十年的教育生涯中,形成了自己丰富而具有特色的教育教学思想。单就他的教学思想来看,也是多彩而深刻的。他对教学的四个基本问题、四种关系及提高教学质量的途径和方法等方面的论述尽管具有明显的历史烙印,但对我国当代教育教学改革实践,以及我国教育科学特别是高等教育理论的发展仍具有重大的现实指导意义。
