Muhammad lqbal is an outstanding modem thinker of Pakistan. ＂Self＂ is one of the key concepts of his thought on Islam. Traditional Islamic philosophy lays stress on the nature of＂ Humanity＂ in terms of ＂Human＂ ; while ＂Self＂ concept of I pays close attention to ＂Individuality＂ and ＂Uniqueness＂, which is a new interpretation for ＂Human＂.
