摘要
说语言是一种符号系统,乃是一种人学的重要理论发现。"惊异"是符号本身带给人的一种无形的思想力量,是人类真正思索的开端,也是人类创造力的源泉。语文教育,应当开启语言文字作为符号世界的惊异力量,唤醒人自身的创造精神和意志自由,激发人们对于未知世界与神秘事物的无限渴望。
It is an important theoretical discovery in humanities that language is actually a system of various symbols. "Amazement" is an invisible power to think brought to man by the symbol; is the very start for man to think genuinely, and is the very origin for man to be equipped with the force to create. Language teaching is, therefore, to reveal that, as a world of the symbol, language is to reveal the power to be amazed, is to evoke man's creative spirit and freedom of will, and is to inspire his limitless aspiring after the unknown and the mystic.
