The Empirical Study of Vocabulary Learning Strategy for the Students of Vocational College

摘要 以南通职业大学计算机专业学生为研究对象,将定性研究和定量研究方法相结合,采用词汇测试、问卷调查、访谈、SPSS技术统计等手段,通过为期一年的词汇策略培训,结果显示:在策略培训后,学生使用策略的频率明显提高,成功学习者使用词汇策略的频率高于不成功学习者。词汇策略培训后的测试表明,实验班的词汇测试成绩明显高于对照班,说明了策略培训的有效性。同时,实验班学生词汇成绩和对照班相比内部差异变大,学生的词汇成绩出现分化。 The research subjects in the study are students from Nantong Vocational College majoring in computer. The researcher had vocabulary strategy training on the students for one year. The methods like questionnaire, students' interview and vocabulary test were used in the study. The result indicates that the vocabulary strategy training has positive influence on the students' vocabulary learning. The students can employ strategies more frequently than before. Some of the strategies that are "seldom used" before the training are "sometimes used" after the training. The test scores of the experimental class are higher than those of the control class according to the vocabulary test after the training and it confirms the effectiveness of vocabulary strategy training. But there is larger inner difference in the experimental class after training and the high-proficiency students benefit more from the strategy training.
