摘要
文中利用Coifman和Meyer的钟函数构造理论,提出了一种改进的正交钟函数,并与Donoho正交钟函数的压缩性能进行比较。实验结果表明,采用改进正交钟函数变换后的系数更加集中在低频部分,能够提高编码增益。对于在要求压缩前后失真微小的应用场合中,利用改进的正交钟函数比Donoho正交钟函数更具有优势。
An improved orthogonal bell in this paper. The experimental result shows function is proposed according to the theory of Coifman and Meyer that the coefficients transformed via the improved orthogonal bell function are more concentrated in the lower frequency region, thus being able to raise the coding gain. For some lower compression distortion applications, the improved orthogonal bell function is superior to the Donoho's orthogonal bell function.
