直型和弯曲型双胆固醇基液晶基元化合物的合成与表征

摘要 以胆固醇和丁二酸酐反应生成丁二酸胆固醇单酯,丁二酸胆固醇单酯与对苯二酚反应合成了一种直型的双胆固醇基液晶化合物,与邻苯二酚反应合成了一种弯曲性双胆固醇基液晶化合物。对直型和弯曲双胆固醇基液晶化合物的液晶性能进行了表征,结果表明这2种液晶化合物在加热和冷却过程中均可以形成胆甾相液晶。直型液晶化合物的液晶温度范围较宽于弯曲型液晶化合物;这2种化合物的液晶态都具有胆甾相所特有的鲜艳颜色。 A linear and a bent shaped dicholesteryl liquid crystalline compound are synthesized from the reaction of cholesterol hydrogen succinate with hydroquinone and catechol. And their LC properties are characterized. The results show these two compounds are eholesteric liquid crystals both in heating and cooling processes. The phase transition temperature ranges of the linear-shaped dimer are wider than thoes of the bent shaped dimmer, and both the linear and bent shaped dimers show different iridescent colors with the temperature changes in the liquid crystalline state.
