以"意象派诗人"身份步入诗坛的美国现代女诗人杜利特尔,从与众不同的独特视角,抒发自己在男权话语为中心的传统文化和现代社会中的感受。一方面改写传统神话中虽然美丽却概念模糊、缄默不语的妇女角色;另一方面则试图建立女性话语中心,创造出糅合个人经历的关于海伦的新神话。

Entering the poetic world as the ＂H. D. Imagist＂, Hilda Doolittle expressed her feelings in the world of phallocentric tradition and modem society from a unique female perspective. She rewrote the role of a silenced woman in myth, tried hard to establish gynocentric discourse. Thus, she created a new myth with her private experiences.
