This article attempts to make out the design for network - based college English teaching system based on the different structures and functions of the digital network language laboratories and on the use of the softwares for aiding English teaching. The design is aimed at making college English teaching web - wide, digital, self - directed and open, which will provide teachers and students with a better teaching and learning platform
