Impacts of Traditional Ethics Thinking on the Development of Administration

理性思维和德性思维是人类两种不同的思维方式。中国传统的政府管理受德性思维影响,近代西方行政管理则受理性思维影响。无论是西方传统的理性思维,还是东方传统的德性思维,都具有历史发展的片面性,行政伦理则是一种超越理性思维和德性思维的行政学研究视角,它既开启了现代西方行政伦理救治路径,也为我国以德治国提供了理论支持。

Rational thinking and Virtue Thinking are two different ways of thinking. While Chinese traditional Government Management is affected by the Virtue Thinking, the modern western administration is affected by the Rational Thinking. No matter the western traditional Rational thinking or the Eastern traditional Virtue Thinking, they also have one-sideness of historical development. Administration Ethics is a research perspective of administration which is beyond the Rational Thinking and the Virtue Thinking. It opens the path of saving modern western Administrative Ethics, and provides us theoretical support for administering the country by Virtue.
