摘要
在雷达目标识别领域中,DSP(数字信号处理器)应用面临着算法复杂多样和实时性强的双重挑战,仅靠单一处理器性能的提高仍很难全面适应,还必须在DSP系统组织结构上进行优化。本文针对雷达目标识别算法的特殊性,较详细介绍了由6片TMS320C50数字信号处理器构成的基于MIMD(多指令多数据流)结构的实时处理系统的设计原理。本系统具有小体积、低成本和工程化的特点,达到了较高的性能价格比。
DSP(Digital Signal Processor) applications face many challenges in the field of radar target recognition, such as complex algorithm and high realtime rate.Only enhancing performance of single chip processors will be suitable for it with difficult, so we should aslo optimize the architecture of the DSP system.In this paper in the light of behaviors and requirements of radar target recognition, a basic principle in designing a real time system of six TMS320C50's,based on the MIMD architecture (Multiple Instruction Multiple Data Stream Architecture), is discussed in detail. The system has the characteristics of small volume, low cost and high performance/cost ratio.
