The ideology of medical education from WU die-ping and its impact on education of Peking Union Medical College

本文从培养解决实际问题的能力，注重能力素质培养；严格要求，实行“高进优教严出”；坚持“三高”，重视“三基”，强调“三严”；实行导师制和交换学生制度；实行住院医师培养制度等方面，初步论述了吴阶平医学教育思想与协和医学精英教育传统。

The origination and development of WU＇s ideology of medical education are briefed through the introduction of Peking Union Medical College （PUMC） tradition since its foundation. The fundamental elements of PUMC education are composed of high standard in student enrollment, education and training process supported by special mentor-supervision and the long-term clinical training including residents training after graduation with MD degree as a package system, which facilitated capability development of the students with a solid base of science and technology as well as the special program of the students exchange and graduate medical education in hospital.
