瓦当佛韵

摘要 南北朝时期佛教开始在中国广大地区流传开来,在皇家的大力提倡与积极参与下,全国各地广建寺院,开窟造像,参禅礼佛之风盛行。佛教的力量不仅开始渗透人心,而且也渗入到了大众生活的许多层面,佛像瓦当在这种背景下应运而生。佛像瓦当作为建筑的一种局部构件自然无法与那些精致且巨大的石雕和泥塑佛造像相比拟,但在小小的方寸之地,它同样"低徊浅唱"着相同的佛韵。 Buddhism has begun spreading in many places of China since the Southern and Northern Dynasties.With the vigorous advocating and active participation,many temples were built in places throughout the country to excavate the grottos and create the statue and the Buddha respected etiquette was prevailing.The power of Buddhism was not only accepted by most of the people,it also influenced the life style of communities.In that background,the Buddha tile end emerged.As one of partial structure,Buddha tile end was unable to compare with the exquisite and huge stone carving as well as the clay Buddha statue.With the narrow space,Buddha tile end reflected the same Buddha charm.
