摘要
利用非对称微屏蔽线实现了一种新型结构铌酸锂光波导调制.并将传统中用于鳍线、微带线的谱域导抗法推广运用到这种以各向异性介质——铌酸锂为基底的半封闭的传输线中,分析、计算了该结构的色散特性、半波电压和调制带宽.结果表明,利用该结构实现电光行波调制器可以在很宽的频带内有效地减小调制器的速度失配,增加了调制带宽,是一种可行的方案.
A new type of lithium niobate (LiNbO 3) optical waveguide modulator with asymmetrical microshield line is proposed. With the spectral domain immittance approach, usually used in fin line and microstrip, the calculation of the dispersion of the microshield waveguide is made. The modulating voltage and the available bandwidth is needed estimated. The results show that the structure decreases velocity mismatching between optical wave and microwave. Therefore, it increases the modulation bandwidth.
