＂Enhancing the harmony within the party to promote social harmony＂ was new idea brought forward by the 17th National Congress of CPC, was the important measure of strengthening the Party construction and constructing socialist harmonious society, was the organic combination of traditional ＂harmonious＂ values and new era value, was the vivid embodiment with carrying out scientific development view. It has significant theoretical value. The paper carried on the analysis from four as pects, namely, the research field of harmonious thought, the Party building theory, the theory of social construction and the socialist theory with Chinese characteristics.
