全球化视野中的国际女性移民

International Female Migration from a Global Perspective

在经济全球化背景下,国际移民女性化成为新的移民趋势。女性移民的动机不仅是婚姻和家庭关系所致,而且是多种因素合力作用的结果。她们的职业种类大多位于低层。她们身在国外,却不能被赋予与移入国公民同样的保护。女性移民具有双重影响,她们对母国的经济发展和家人的生活改善作出了贡献,却面临着挑战,显示出其脆弱性,处于基于性别的暴力和剥削的危险之中。在移民研究中,应充分考虑社会性别的因素,并呼吁国际社会加强合作,赋予女性移民应有的权利。

Under the background of economical globalization,international female migration becomes popular.The essay studies on international female migration from a global perspective.It points out that motives of such migration are not only marriage and family relationship,but also the result of composition of forces.Most occupations of international female migrants are lower skilled ones and as they live in overseas,they are not entitled to the same protection as native people.There are double effects of international female migration:on the one hand,those migrants make great contribution to their families and homelands;on the other hand,their living is very fragile and most of them are at risk of sex violence and exploitation.The essay proposals that there should be more attention to female migration and plenty consideration of gender factor in migration study.And international society should strengthen cooperation to endow female migrants with rights.
