储望华先生改编的钢琴曲《二泉映月》把钢琴和二胡两种截然不同的乐器所表现的音乐完美的结合在一起,真正意义上实现了中西方音乐的碰撞和交融,使它的艺术定位达到空前的高度。研究和发展民族器乐与钢琴以及世界音乐的结合对创造我国的新音乐具有深远的意义。

The piano music--the Moon Reflected in Two Springs has been adapted from the classic erhu music by Chu Wanghua, which not only puts two different styles of musical instruments together, but also, to some extent ,is the combination of the west and China. Making a study of how to combine our national instrumental music with the western skills unquestionably has far-reaching influence on new music-creation in China.
