Mr. T. Kuhn under the Reflection of SSK

考察以SSK及其他相关工作为背景的研究可以更好地理解库恩的贡献与局限性。第一,正是库恩为科学知识的社会学分析提供了现实的可能性,但由于历史的局限,库恩本人却未能在这一方向上做出实质性的工作;第二,SSK所倡导的"有限论"可以被看成对库恩关于"范例"对于"范式"特别重要性的具体阐述与进一步发展;第三,尽管库恩关于范式不可通约性的分析为相对主义进入科学敞开了大门,但后继的SSK的发展则已清楚地表明科学的发展有着十分光明的前景。

Taking SSK and some relating work as backgrounds for thinking,we can understand better the contribution and limitation of T.Kuhn's work on the philosophy of science.Firstly,it is Kuhn's work that offers the possibility for studying science from the view of sociology;but he himself fails to do any actual work in this direction because of the limitation of the time.Secondly,the finitism advanced by SSK can be seen as a further development of Kuhn's idea about the very importance of examples to paradigm.Thirdly,although Kuhn opens the door for relativism to enter into the field of science,the further development has shown clearly that science has a very bright perspective.
