This paper is introducing an aided design software for seafood cold storage. The software was developed by Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and Access Database. The software features： each cold room load calculation, cooling equipment load calculation, mechanical load calculation, compressor load calculation and the selection of major equipment in the entire cooling system. Examples have indicated that this software has the features of nice interface, accurate calculation and practical use. It is a convenient tool of designing for seafood cold storage.
