功能分布式汉字微机系统PCNS的研制

THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A FUNCTION DISTRIBUTED CHINESE MICROCOMPUTER SYSTEM PCNS

本文阐述功能分布式汉字微机系统PCNS的设计思想及功能特点。PCNS是有7个结点用户、按星形拓朴构成的分布式系统。由一个通信处理机管理各结点机的通信及资源共享,各结点间用RS-422接口链接。系统中各结点机在我们开发的多用户操作系统DMUS的支持下,既可独立地完成自己的任务,又能互相请求服务,能运行dBASEⅢPLUS及FOXBASE。它是一个具有较高性能/价格比的实用系统,现已投入生产,受到用户的欢迎。

This paper describes the idea of designing and the functional characteristics for the distributed Chinese microcomputer system PCNS.The PCNS is a distributed system with 7 nodes and star to- pology.It manages the communication between nodes and resources shared by a communication processor.The interfaces RS—422 are used to link all the nodes together.Under the support of multiuser operating system DMUS developed by us the nodes in PCNS not only can do its own jobs independently,but also can request servi- ces from each other.Furthermore,the dBASE III PLUS and FOX- BASE can run in this system.The PCNS is a system with higher ratio of performance/cost.It has now been put into production and is welcomed by the users.
