On the Culture Context of Readers' Consciousness Alteration in Modern Novel Creature

小说是一种说话行为。小说创作具有或隐或显的读者意识。近代中国小说创作中的读者意识呈现出矛盾因素纠集的特征,即争取读者目的在政治功利与物质功利之间摇摆,读者阅读期待的文化指向在肯定西方与眷恋传统之间挣扎,读者地位置放在理论观念与创作实践中背道而驰等等。这种现象的出现并非偶然,而是与积贫积弱的时代背景、冲撞融合的思想观念、便利迅捷的报刊媒介,及利益驱动的商业创作等具体历史语境密切关联。

Novel is a sort of narrative action. There is a kind of readers＇ consciousness in modem novel creature. It showed a feature tangled with contradictory elements, including the purpose of attract readers swinging from politics benefit to material wealth, the reading expectation altering between the east and west, the readers＇ position appearing different in idea and creature and so on. It is not accident, but according with the epoch of poor nation, the colliding ideology, the convenient literary medium, and the commercial writing aiming at money as well.
