Analysis and suggestions of sharp instrument injury on 271 medical workers

目的:全面、系统地了解医院医务人员医疗锐器损伤的发生情况及原因,探讨预防措施。方法:2006年9月对该院及兄弟医院850名医务人员进行问卷调查。结果:31.88%的医务人员曾经受到各种医疗锐器损伤,护理人员明显高于其他专业医务人员,针刺伤占71.59%,外科缝合及刀割伤占9.22%,安瓿等碎玻璃伤占14.02%。结论:医务人员医疗锐器损伤发生率较高,应注意预防,引起重视。

Objective： To investigate the situation of sharp institute injury on medical workers and to explore countermeasures. Methods： 850 medical staff of Beijing were investigated by anonymous questionnaires. Results： 271 （31.88%） medical workers were injured by sharp instruments, nurses had higher injury rate than others. Among sharp instnmaent injuries, pricking wound was 71.59%, injury related to suture and knife was 9,22%, injury related to ampoule and broken glass was 14.02%. Conclusion： Sharp instrument injury incidence of medical workers was high. It was important to prevent sharp instrument injury.
