The phenomenon of bump at bridge head is one of common defects in quality of highway construction, and it is a difficult problem persecuting technical personnel in bridge engineering in forest area for many years. This article analyzes, in combination with the actual conditions of highway bridge engineering in the Daxing＇an Ling forest area, the causes resulting in the bump at bridge head, and put forward to some specific measures for preventing and controlling.
