In the consideration of cost management, the paper analyzes the composition of hospital library costs, discourses on the function and significance of hospital library cost management and proposes the detailed measures and ways of hospital library cost management, in order to establish and enforce the concept of cost among library managers, to realize higher return with lower cost. This will beneficial to the management of library resources, and to have better service of medical treatment, education and research activities.
