教育,在一个国家和民族的持续健康发展中占有举足轻重的地位,而高等教育作为人才培养序列的高端,更承载着社会创新前进的重任。中国高等教育历经近十年大众化之路,取得了令世人瞩目的巨大成就,同时也日益显露出亟待解决的问题。各高等院校只有直面差距、反省不足,切实增强忧患意识,才能实现更好更快的全面发展。

Education is of great importance in the sustained and healthy development of a nation, and higher education as the highest institution of cultivating talents shoulders the important mission of social innovation and progress. China＇ s higher education has experienced about ten years＇ popularization, and has achieved outstanding accomplishments. However, it also has shown some imperative problems. All the institutions of higher education should face bravely the gaps, reflect on the defects and raise the sense of urgency so as to achieve better and faster overall development.
