Compatibility between the Concept of "MICE" and Local Resources:Urban Design for the Central Axis and Surrounding Area in Laoshan District Government of Qingdao

通过对地方资源的分析和MICE理念的引入,为青岛市崂山区政府中轴线及周边地区未来发展提出城市设计主题——"MICE产业概念下的空间整合",并进一步通过从功能布局、活动流线、空间景观和文化特色等方面来体现和贯彻该主题,激发地段活力,实现地区的资源整合和优化发展。

By the analysis of local resources and introduc- tion to the idea of ＂MICE＂, the paper brings forward the theme of urban design - ＂spatial integration by concept of MICE industry＂ for future development of the central axis of the Laoshan district government of Qingdao and its surrounding area. Furthermore, it emphasizes the functional layout, lines of activities, spatial landscape and cultural features in order to reflect the theme, stimulate the validity of section, realize the integration of resources and optimize development.
