1 ： 1 Scale Testing Tower for ＂Study of External Insulation Characteristics Test of 1.1 Scale Testing Tower for 1000 kV Double Circuit with Same Tower Has Been Successfully Erected
1.1 scale testing tower for ＂study of external insulation characteristics test of 1：1 scale testing tower for 1000 kV double circuit with same tower＂ which is the key project of SGCC undertaken by State Grid Electric Power Research Institute（SGEPRI） was successfully erected on July 24, 2008. This testing tower has height of 58m and weight of 104t. The cross arm of two sides is asymmetry design and can satisfy the requirement of air gap discharge test of Ⅰ type and Ⅴ type insulator string.
