“文化侵略”说辨析

本文质疑、辨析了"文化侵略"论,肯定了西方近代在华文化活动的价值,文章的基本观点是:试图厘清文化侵略与国家主权的关系,并与是否存在思想文化之互动联在一起。近代西方在华的基督教文化活动不存在强制个人接受的问题,因此不属于文化侵略。真正的文化侵略、文化殖民是与文化专制、文化强权连在一起的,文化侵略、文化殖民不过是将文化专制推广到异国而已,没有文化专制,就没有文化侵略与文化殖民。

Through a study of 'cultural invasion',the paper gives a positive assessment of the cultural activities in China by the Western countries in early modern times.The paper discusses the relation between cultural invasion and the national sovereignty as well as the ideological and cultural interaction.Though the Western countries in early modern times had their Christian activities in China,they did not force the people to accept Christianity and therefore there was no cultural invasion.The real cultural invasion and cultural colonialism are related to cultural autocracy and cultural power;in other words,the cultural invasion or cultural colonialism aims to popularize cultural autocracy to other countries.Thus,if there is no cultural autocracy,there will be no cultural invasion and cultural colonialism.
