略论近代辞书之文化传承与创新

A Preliminary Study of the Cultural Inheritance and Innovation Revealed in the Early Modern Chinese Dictionaries

近代汉字辞书经历了传承传统与融合中西的发展轨道,在不断地传承与创新过程中,为中国文化传播、中西文化认知做出了很大贡献。本文以《康熙字典》及《华英字典》为例,对中华辞书以不同发展路经做了生动呈现,并以此为基础,对作为文化承载工具的辞书有了进一步的期待。

The early modern Chinese dictionaries have a history of inheritance and innovation that combines the inheritance of the tradition with the fusion of Chinese culture and English culture,which has made much contribution to the popularizing of Chinese culture and a good understanding of both Chinese culture and Western culture.Based on a study of Kangxi Dictionary and Huaying Dictionary,the paper expounds the different ways of development in compiling Chinese dictionaries as a carrier of culture,and foretells the future development.
