增加未来玉米供给的路径主要包括增加种植面积、提高单产和改造中低产田,其中以改造中低产田潜力最大。随着玉米转化产业的发展,玉米消费结构发生了巨大变化,饲料是玉米消费的主要领域,而玉米工业转化开始成为最大的潜在市场。玉米消费结构的变化带来了巨大的挑战,需要在玉米生产结构、玉米加工业发展、玉米基地建设、玉米技术创新和推广体系建设、玉米主产区区域经济发展政策诸方面实施有效的战略设计。

The ways to increase the future supply of corn mainly include increasing planting area, enhancing yield level and ameliorating medium- and low-yielding land, among which the last is of the greatest potential. With the development of corn transformation industry, the corn consumption pattern has changed a lot. The feed is the main domain of corn consumption, thus the industrial conversion of corn has become the biggest potential market. The change of corn consumption pattern has brought the huge challenge, so the effective strategic design in productive structure of corn should be implemented, which should be the development of corn processing industry, the building of corn base, technological innovation of corn and the building of system for expanding the use of technology, the region economy development in major corn producing areas, and so on.
