试谈大学英语教学中的价值观导入

摘要 新时期全球化的发展对英语教学中的跨文化交际能力有着具体的要求,但目前大学英语教学中往往偏重知识与技能的培养,对跨文化意识的培养显得不够,尤其是价值观教育往往被忽视。面对中西价值观的碰撞时,学生们往往容易出现片面的理解。因此,在大学英语教学中,教师应从中西价值观的特征理解入手,在教授正确的语言知识的同时,引导学生客观地对待中西价值观差异,培养学生通过跨文化的视角看待语言学习中出现的不同价值观现象。 Globalization and the new phrase of Opening and Reform in China have put forward new demands in college English teaching, particularly in the field of intercultural communication. However, more attention has been paid to the teaching of language points and skills rather than to the study of intercultural communication and foreign values indicated by the language have been neglected most of the time in English teaching. Consequently, when facing the collision of values from east and west, students often take them in the wrong way. Therefore, with the attitude of opening and seriousness, English teachers should take the responsibilities of introducing foreign values by comparing their development with those of Chinese in their college English teaching, and cultivating intercultural awareness among students in order to help them view different values in their English studies in an objective way.
