Correlation of Serum B Cell Activating Factor with Disease Activity in Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

摘要 目的探讨系统性红斑狼疮(SLE)患者血清 B 细胞刺激因子(BAFF)水平与 SLE 活动的相关性。方法用酶联免疫吸附法分析50例 SLE 患者(活动期25例,稳定期25例)和15例健康志愿者(对照组)的血清BAFF 水平,分析血清 BAFF 水平与狼疮活动指标的相关性。结果活动期 SLE 患者血清 BAFF 水平(8.23±1.64)ng/ml 显著高于稳定期(3.22±0.63)ng/ml 和对照组(1.49±0.22)ng/ml(P 均<0.01)。稳定期 SLE 患者血清 BAFF水平也显著高于对照组(P<0.05)。16例 SLE 患者治疗前血清 BAFF 水平(9.27±2.29)ng/ml 显著高于治疗后(4.40±0.76)ng/ml(P<0.05)。SLE 患者的血清 BAFF 水平与抗 ds-DNA 抗体(r=0.580,P<0.05)、SLE 疾病活动评分(r=0.326,P<0.05)、24h 尿蛋白(r=0.412,P<0.05)显著正相关。结论 BAFF 参与了 SLE 发病.血清 BAFF水平可作为判断 SLE 活动性的指标。 Objective To investigate the relationship between the level of serum B cell activating factor (BAFF) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) disease activity. Methods Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was used to measure serum BAFF levels of 15 normal controls and 50 patients with SLE including 25 active and 25 inactive SLE patients. The linear correlation analysis was used to evaluate the relationship between serum BAFF levels and SLE disease activity. Results The levels of serum BAFF in active SLE patients (8.23 ± 1.64) ng/ml were significantly higher than that of inactive patients (3.22 ± 0.63) ng/ml and normal controls (1.49±0.22) ng/ml (all P 〈 0.01). Also the serum BAFF level of inactive SLE patients was significantly higher than that of normal controls (P 〈 0.05). The serum BAFF level of 16 SLE patients before treatment (9.27 ± 2.29) ng/ml was significantly higher than after treatment (4.40± 0.76) ng/ml (P 〈 0.05). The serum BAFF levels were positively correlated with serum anti-double strand DNA antibody (r = 0.580, P 〈 0.05), SLE disease activity index (r = 0.326, P 〈 0.05), and 24-hour proteinuria (r = 0.412, P 〈 0.05). Conclusions BAFF is involved in the pathogenesis of SLE. The serum BAFF level is a parameter for evaluation of SLE activity.
