＂Ode to the West Wind＂ by P. B. Shelley is rich in such figures of speech as personification, metaphor, and apostrophe as well as rhythm. This paper aims to analyze the Chinese representation of apostrophe and rhythm （rhyme and alliteration） as represented in three Chinese translations, focusing on the relationship between idea and form in both the source text and. the target text, the stylistic representation of the source text, and the coherence of style in the Chinese translation.
