一、前言 中国古建筑的分布、规模、开发和消防设施状况相差甚远，消防安全管理也各异。古建筑，特别是寺庙等一般建干山上，道路崎岖或属于高台式建筑，没有消防车道，消防车根本无法靠近。由于古建筑多半年久失修，本身耐火等级低，加之一些寺庙长年香火不断，一旦着火，极易蔓延扩大。多数古建筑位干离城镇较远的山区和乡村，消防队到达後，火势往往已处于猛烈燃烧阶段，贻误了灭火的最佳时机。如何解决这一难点，已成为消防业界的研究课题。

Due to the old age and insufficient renovation of ancient buildings, fire is easy to spread once it is caught in these buildings. What＇s more, most ancient buildings locate in remote areas; consequently, when the firefighters get to the fire spot, fire has always upgraded to vigorous burning and the best time for fire controlling and extinguishing has passed. Under such circumstances, this firefighting for ancient buildings has become the research subject ot the firefighting industry.
