在防火与环保之间寻找平衡点，是未来阻燃产品发展的重要节点。阻燃剂在现代社会中的重要性不容忽视，但随着欧洲一系列环保政策出台，其发展应用不同程度地受到了限制。如何在保障人员和财产免受火灾威胁的同时，又能使阻燃剂对人体和环境存在的潜在危害降到最低，是国内阻燃剂生产企业、研究机构及下游电子电气、建材、交通及家具等行业共同关注的焦点。
It is a crucial point in the development of the fire retar- dant to seek a balance between the fire prevention and environment protection. The functions of fire retardants cannot be ignored in modern society; however, its development confronts barriers after the issuing of a series of environment-protection policies in Europe. Under such circumstances, it has become the focus of domestic manufacturers of fire retardant, the research institutions, and the downstream electrical, electronic, transporting and other industries of how to prevent the loss of lives and properties from fires and to minimize the potential harm of fire retardants to the human and eflvironment.
