Micromixing characteristics of a continuous rotor-stator mixer

摘要 采用碘化物-碘酸盐平行竞争反应作为工作体系,对连续高速分散混合器(CRS)内的微观混合特性进行了研究,着重考察了加料时间、转子转速、定子结构等因素对产物分布的影响规律。结果表明:CRS内微观混合特征时间在1.48×10^-4~1.48×10^-5s范围内,远小于常规的搅拌反应器。在转速为1200~1800 r/min范围内,离集指数随转速增加而上升;转速超过1800 r/min之后离集指数则随转速增加而下降。 The micromixing characteristics of a continuous rotor-stator mixer (CRS) have been studied experimentally by using the iodide-iodate parallel competing reactions system. The effects of varying feed time, rotor speed and stator structure on micromixing efficiency or segregation index Xs were investigated. The results showed that the micromixing time in the CRS could reach as low as 1.48 × 10^- 5 - 1.48 × 10^-4 s. The segregation index increased with increasing rotor speed in the range 1200 to 1800 r/min. The segregation index decreased with increasing rotor speed when the rotor speed exceeded 1800 r/min. The results are of importance in terms of optimizing the design of CRS reactors.
