从1941年到1960年代的普利策奖中,环境新闻在美国经历了从地方报纸到全国媒体、从直观到科学的过程。其中转换的条件是生态理论的完善与成熟、扩大受众的社会环境、环境新闻的专业化与新闻文本在思想与形式上的融合与成熟。经过30年的努力,环境新闻完成了从滥觞到发展的媒体过程。

In the Pulizer Prize history from 1941 to1960＇, on the basis of improving ecological theory, social environ ment of growing audiences, professional journalism, and perfecting journalism and ideas in context, environmental journalism has come into life from local newspapers to national ones, from audio visual way to scientific approaches, simplistic styles to multi-genred ones.
