摘要
目前一些高等院校土木工程专业外语教学存在的诸如受重视程度低、教材陈旧、师资弱、考试不规范等问题,制约了其教学质量,本文就此提出了一些改进的策略。
Some problems, like insufficient attention to the importance of subject-based English （SBE）, defects in textbooks, the weak quality of teaching staff, and non-standardization of tests, exist in the SBE teaching in institutions of higher learning adversely affecting the SBE teaching. Some approaches are presented in this paper to improve the SBE teaching.
