浅谈《鳏夫的房产》中的女性形象

Exploration on the Female Images in Widowers' Houses

《鳏夫的房产》是萧伯纳戏剧创作生涯中的首部作品。在该部作品中所涉及到的两个女性形象:贝朗溪和她的贴身女仆体现了萧伯纳早期创作中的女权主义观点。中产阶级女性贝朗的反叛形象反映了当时中产女性对于享有平等权利的呼声。而她的女仆该角色的设立的反映了当时下层社会低微的女性地位以及唤醒他们女权斗争意识的必要性。

Widowers＇ Houses is George Bernard Shaw＇s first play. The two female images in the play ： Blanche and the Parlormaid reflected his early feministic idea. The middle-class woman Blanche＇s antagonism against patriarchy reveal the the middle-class women＇s demand on the equal right between men. The image of her Parlomaid explored the passive status of the lower-class women and the necessity of their feministic awareness.
