《现代汉语词典》第五版的少数词条释义有不明、偏颇或不合逻辑等问题。这里对"持家"、"国家"、"爱国"、"剥削"、"直系亲属"、"批判"、"批评"、"民主"、"自尊"、"江湖"、"耍滑"、"耍滑头"、"呵护"、"腐败"和"花苞"15条进行了商榷和修改,以供下次修订时参考。

The problems that the paraphrases of a few entries are unclear, biased and illogical exist in the fifth edition of Modern Chinese Dictionary. The paraphrases of such fifteen entries as ＂housekeeping＂, ＂country＂, ＂being patriotic＂, ＂exploitation＂, ＂direct relatives＂, ＂animadversion＂, ＂criticism＂, ＂democracy＂, ＂self-esteem＂, ＂jianghu＂, ＂doing things in a slick way＂, ＂aegis＂, ＂corruption＂ and ＂huabao＂ are discussed and revised for the reference of the next revision of the dictionary.
